I'm getting ready to mount my first turkey, have bought the breakthru book on turkeys, and pretty much ready to go, but have 1 question. Do you use an adhesive on the turkey skin to hold it to the form? I will be using borax to preserve it, and have been told that once it is applied, it is ready to mount on the form, but what holds it in place on the form? all help is greatly apprieciated. thanks Scott.

Caulk and caulking gun, Silicone caulk sets up fast, for the first turkey, you may want a Latex mixed with Silicone caulk, in sets slower.

Get the calk from wal-mart (dap latex) white or clear

You need laytex calk to replace the fat on the turkey that got removed when you fleshed the skin.

What pose are you planning? you will need about 2 to three tubes depending on the mount.
