This will be my first mount standing. Do I need to add any extra wires? or do anything different? I would appreciate any help. THANKS

Skin the bird out using the knee joint to knee joint incision, remove the legs and bones, and mount the legs to the mannikin FIRST. Geese are big birds and need 6 or 8 gage wire at the least in those legs. Doing it that way, these heavy wires won't be so hard to bend without damaging the birds feathers. Since the wings don't have to be wired heavy, the skin will easily slip over the form and can be sewn where there's no seam visible. Make doubly sure you've removed all the fat and this incision will give you further insurance that, down the road, you won't have any grease spots to contend with.
