I use it on all my stuff. I would paint it on the inside of the head skin and put it back in the fridge for a day. It will really make a difference. Glen can tell you a lot more about it.
Hope this helps.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but who sells stop rot? I really want some when I place my next order. Thanks!
Greg's suggestion is as good as it gets. He can handle answering the STOP-ROT questions just fine and dandy.
Becky, I'm going to do this off the top of my head, so I hope I don't leave anyone out.

thanks Glen, I always fine new ways to use the stuff! sorry I have not got any pictures to you yet. When I think ahead (witch is not all the time) I will get you some.
I received a Wood duck that was in the freezer unwrapped for 5 years, as the customer told me. I probably could have given it right back to him because it was already freeze dried. Anyhow he told me to see if I could mount it and if not, no big deal. I skinned the bird out which was a chore due to it being freezer burned, I applied Stop Rot to the whole skin, wrapped it up and placed back into the freezer. A few days later I took it out to defat it, when it thawed you could not even tell it was freezer burned. High praise to Stop- Rot.
Thanks for all your Help.Joe
