do any of you guys worry about handling crows because of this? I know other birds, humans, and horses may all get this too. But, I've never mounted a crow, because well a crow is a dirty crow, but I'd like to. Any precautions?

for all of us to start wearing gloves when doing our work. We have West Nile and now there is an Avain flu thats already spreading across Southeast Asia. This one is going to kill millions if it's not contained. I've read that Waterfowl may be immune to West Nile as it seems to kill birds in the Crow/Jay families. I've seen a huge decrease in the Crow population out West where I hunt ducks and geese. Saw a dead Bluejay in somebodies front yard today as I was driving. I don't see these around as much as I used to here in town. Non-latex type disposable gloves are cheap and available at any medical supply. Happy Safe mounting!
