i just got my Federal license,what records do i need to keep in my logs,besides customers info and species and sex?

And read them CLOSELY. They tell you everything the Federal government requires, but REMEMBER, you home state may have other requirements. Check with them as well.

I have the regulations,and have read them more than once.But i didnt see anything in them about getting the customers license number.Someone told me that they thought you have to.By the way i am in Ky and have checked with them and all they reguire is species and sex.

there isn't anything I see about getting a licence number in the fed regs, but I know in the state of IL it's needed. It's a good idea to jot it down, anyway, just to get in the habit, and to varify the bird or animal is legal - otherwise if it isn't legal you can get in trouble.

yes have the hunting licence no. with your records my local GW requires me to have it even on my own birds for displays. give me a mail with you no. and we'll talk some time
