European woodcock are larger than our north american wood cock so there is most likely not a form. We wrap or carve all of our bodys. There grouse are not much diferant then ours when it comes to mounting them. Their Black grouse has a really neat shape to it's tail. and mounting a capercalie is alittle more lke mounting a small turkey. The salted skins can be alittle more trouble then a freash bird but most we have done have not been to bad.

there is a photo of a black grouse and woodcock 0n our website in the bird gallery. www.taxidermymount.com

Good luck,
Mike
