Super Solvet

Afer reading many messages about cleaning birds, I would like to know if Rittel's Super Sulvet takes the place of washing with Dawn Soap and soaking in gas? If so this will cut out two steps in the process. Also, should or could you soak the skins in Protex for bug proffing or mix it in the tumbler material?

I use Rittels super solvent on birds and I think it does a great job of degreasing. I do not dunk my skins in coleman fuel as I do not like the vapors and potential fire hazard in my shop. I blow out as much water with a reversed shop vac and then tumble.

Thanks Chris, I will try the Rittel solvent. What about the Protex, is this a extra step or should be done to make sure of no bug problems? Thanks ,Pat
