albino pheasant

What are the odds of shooting an albino, or pied, rooster pheasant. I recently took one in south dakota.

Two of them from two different hunters and they both were from South Dakota. Came in the same year 2002.

one back in 1976 or 1977, that came from a game farm in Ga. Have not seen or heard of one since. Spooky looking critters!

shot a golden pheasant Saturday here in SD. The head is typical rooster pheasant but the whole bird is gold.

of them near winner sd in one year. one on the opener, and one late season. The are fairly easy to spot in cover during the late season.
