how long birds in freezer

i have a pair of ducks in the freezer, they have been there for about 8 yrs. do you think they can still be mounted

If they were wrapped well.

They could be fine if the air was kept out. You will be able to tell once you check the feet. Even if they are they can sometimes be injected and rehydrated. Good luck

Thaw and see

There are a number of factors to consider - all will be known when you thaw the bird out. Feet and eyes lids can be rehydrated with a little patience. However, if the bird is truly freeze dryed, the challenge is much greater and may not be worth the trouble. Good Luck
