Turkey bodies?

I just got my first turkey ever and just starting out doing taxidermy. Just got back from attending school. The first Turkey I have to mount only weighed 7.61 lbs. And was wondering on a body that might work for this size hen. Then on of my friends got a small jake a few days later and wants it mounted, but having the same problem with the size, it was 9.7 lbs.

Van Dykes sells some forms that might work for you. There's the peacock, sage grouse, the guinnea fowl, and often, I order the XL Canada goose body and carve it down to size.

If you have the time to wait.....

I have an expanded breast 10 pound body right now. It's for an ocellated turkey but it would fit any 10 pound turkey. At the most you might have to carve the breast down just a bit. As for other sizes, I am currently working on a hen and a 15 to 17 pound bird. Ihave a 18 to 20 pounder now and a 21 to 23 lber now. Email me and I can give you more info. Or call 859-233-9619. Thanks....Harry
