Ptarmigan bodys

Does enybody know were I can buy really good Ptarmigan body`s. I have bought from different dealers, but i have not been satified with the results. Does enybody have som pictures of the mannikin so I can see it before I buy it.

but Ferbee bodies where a perfect match for the last two I did.

Seldom will you ever get an exact match of a bird body with the particular bird you are mounting. 90% of the commercial manikans, in my opinion, have to be modified to be used properly. That said, the other point of view is that as long as the body is smaller, properly placed padding can be used to fill out any body to its' appropriate shape. As long as a body is "egg" shaped and holds the legs, wing, neck and tail, a talented taxidermist can mount an acceptable bird. I would suggest you begin using your own forms, either wrapped or carved.
