Why does E-Bay continue to have illegal taxidermy items on the site? Right now, in the USA, someone is selling a collection of bird skulls, all of which are ILLEGAL to sell! I cannot get over this. There should be a resident game warden who regulates the animal products sold on E-Bay. I mean, these sellers are sitting ducks, and somehow they never get caught. Yet, if I keep a Blue Jay feather I found on the ground, I can easily be caught (since I have my taxidermy permits, and the "man" can pop in at any time!) Any law enforcement agency in the US can log onto E-Bay and type in taxidermy, and find lots of illegal dealings on any given day. Why are these people free to sell, sell, sell whatever the heck they want. I can't sell a mounted mallard that a customer stiffed me, but these people can sell Heron skulls like there is no tomorrow!

....Ebay is a huge site, they monitor it continually, but not instantly. Illegal and restricted items do get put on the auction, but they usually get caught and pulled off by Ebay before the completion of the auction. Do yourself and the seller a favor by sending a courtious email enforming them of their illegality.
The auction will get closed before it ends. There are many animal groups monitoring e-bay, and many game wardens and officials. I listed items for sale before and I was contacted by the fish and game warning me to stop a particular auction. There are many key words that are pinged, to notify ebay of its listing, very few illegal auctions ever get completed. You can spped up the process of notifying ebay of a particular auction also when you see it.
Thanks guys. I just get so upset sometimes:o) I hate it when things are unfair, especially when it applies to me, lol!
