I use a lot of 12-14 gauge wire for my birds and the taxidermy supply stores charge high prices for their materials. I found some great wire available at the local hardware store in 10 foot lengths for just over a dollar each. They sell it for hanging suspended ceiling tiles. Just thought if there are other cheap skates out there that I would let you know. My wife appreciates it because I no longer steal her coat hangers. Cheers

Hi if you go to the farm supply stores they sell it by the hundred or more foot rolls . Also if you ask at your hardware store they should be able to get the size in bulk form for you at a better price.John
What a great deal! I was just at Home Depot today, and bought some great discount lumber, since I am a crazy shopping woman and I LOVE low prices, lol!....I am definately going to check out this wire you are talking about. The wire in all of the taxidermy supply magazines are too expensive, you know? Thanks for letting us know about this:o)
I buy mine at a farm and ranch store. It is used for electric fence. One quarter of a mile for $26.00
