I am going to try to do my first phesant. thought i would ask the pros on here. what things do i need to look out for. i have read some here and had experience with deer and mamles for 10 plus years. im sure the best thing is to get a video on birds, which i will do. any tips on a good vedio is good too. i have the bird in the frige right now, but would like to at least skinn it out. im planning on doing a cut right up the breast to skin it out. then i was going to freeze it till i get the video and more tips here. until then ill leave it in the frige today. any help will be much appreciated. thanks in advance

go ahead and freeze now and watch the video first. Just my opinion. Jeff
I would put it in the freezer now. I reccommend the video by Danny owens from Van Dykes. There's allot of little things that you should know if you want to do it right.
thanks for the tips. i did freeze the bird to work on later when i have a beter idea of exactly what to do. i have watched a video on a flying snow geese with sally daims. but just to be on the safe side i will invest in more. thanks again
