i would like to find a taxidermied bluebird - and am interested in different wing spreads, etc... can anyone lead me in the right direction? thanks!

Suddenly we seem to have had a rash of requests for protected/endangered species and I find it hard to believe that people can be that misinformed. Songbirds, raptors, and scavengers are federally protected species whereby the possession of even a feather of these birds in a felony and is punishable with fines, prison time, or both.

i'm sorry - i didn't realize. as you guessed, i am quite uninformed and also not even an amateur taxidermist/collector. the bird was for a photography project. i'll look into stock imagery. thanks for giving me the heads up!

You could try a local nature center they sometimes
have taxidermied songbirds you caould take pictures
of .
