To "spray"? the birds? Several years ago I had a friend and client wanting to bring some back from Mexico and whatever taxidermist had to have a special permit/license just for the importing and as I understand it that permit/license is expensive. Sorry I don't know anyone. Maybe the "spray" is something to d with bird flu virus.
It's not that simple as just "spraying"
The customs agents look at their list of USDA approved establishments and then the hunter must choose who he wants to take the birds to. The customs agent will give him a specified amount of time to deliver the birds to the taxidermist and then call that taxidermist to verify that he indeed did recieve them.
The taxidermist has an easy to follow proceedure of disinfecting and discarding of the waste but he cannot be a middle-man and send them off to someone else.
I am USDA approved and it is very expensive. If you want you could send him my way and I'll do the work. I could give you a "finders fee" for sending the work my way, but to send you the birds would be illegal. www.BreckDickinsonTaxidermy.com
