WARNING-Clean as you go

Hey guys this isn't a question, just some "learned the hard way" advise to keep the work area picked up as you go. You pro's will think this stupid. I won't blame ya.

I was doing a Pintail Hen (my own) this past weekend and all was going good. I super glued the skin back around the bill and I flipped the bird over to start sewing it up. My wife came in and asked me why was there a tag on the birds back. To which I replied "their aint no tag on the back"! She said "then what's that?" I flipped it back over to find the small piece of paper I was using to pour a little Zap a Gap on was stuck fast. Yup, layed that hen right in the (still wet) super glue, UGH! What a dumb @$$. I won't do that again!

I picked up some super glue solvent today. Hopefully it will work.

Pat-m, If you have extra mix of the magic sculpt, roll it to a ball with your palm, put it down, and use one end of a wire to make a hole. Pour your Zap-a-gap in the hole. You can use this over and over again.

How dumb is this....

The other day, I thawed a cape that I had bought and I put some stop rot on it (so I thought) and continued doing what I was doing. I thought Man, this is a really nice cape and it smells nice too. My rubber gloves kept ripping and I thought that was weird because I wasn't really doing anything major. After flipping the cape over, I realized to my horror that I just applied hair sheen to the entire skin. Lesson, don't keep hair sheen and stop rot on the same shelf and get plenty of sleep. LOL.

Thanks Tereza

Great suggestion. I'm gonna do just that. Like I said, I won't make that mistake again.

What does "hair sheen" do?
