On attaching wing wires to form. What if you took a piece of 3/8" sch 40 pipe, cut it just short of the form width. Then drill and tap a 10/32" hole in the center of the pipe length ways. Drill a hole thru the form at wing location the size of the pipe and one in line with the threaded hole from either front or back. Screw in 10/32" set screw. Cut wing wires just long enough to reach past set screw. Insert wing wires from both sides, tighten down set screw. Fill set screw hole with clay. Have'nt tried this, just a thought. What do you think?

sounds alot more complicated than shoving a wire threw the form
But just think about the pain in the butt it is on the bigger birds with heavy ga. wire
use your cordless drill and drill threw the form with a wire just a little bit bigger than your using. i do that before i put the hide on the form then all hole are pre drilled and the wires go threw so much easier.
Buckeye use to make a turkey form like that but I don't think it is made like that anymore... TR
i have drilled out were my wire will go in turkey forms with a 1/2 inch wood bit. then take a drinking straw with a T-pin in each end to hold it in the center of the biger hole. then fill around the straw with bondo. wire wing & cut wire off just short of the form. then you can run a screw into the bondo to anchor the wire. this is some what the same ideal as the buckeye forms with the set screw.
