Who's got the best struttin' turkey forms? One that will really aid in setting those back feathers and chest feathers up like they should be? Who designed the best and where can you by them.
Thanks for the input,
Joe

There is that best word again. It's been said here before, a experienced taxidermist can use the worst of materials and make a super mount; an inexperienced beginner can take the best of materials and make a pile of junk out of it. None of the forms makes the feathers stand up. The trick is watching a pro do it, and then try it at home, then again, and again and again. So Joe if you are asking about turkey forms that make the bird look good, it doesn't work that way. The taxidermist is what makes it look good.
I like Cally Morris forms that have the leg slot in them. However, I am still perfecting the other part that makes a Turkey, look like one. Get a form that is smaller than the bird is my best advice. Any form will work on the first few birds.
Thanks T. I totally agree and my first turkey probably will look like a pile of junk. But I don't want it to and so I'm looking for any edge I can get. I've read hundreds of posts and some have suggested that some forms are better for standing up those feathers. Just trying to hear a little more. Good advice on getting a smaller form. I will do that.
Thanks,
Joe
