Hot Glue and Caulk

Hi, I have just done my first bird mount and got a small amount if white caulk around one eye, and I somehow managed to dip one of the tips of a wing feather in hot glue. Is there anything that will remove either of these products? (I did remove as much of the caulk as possible when it was wet, but there is a small amount of residue left) Thank you in advance for your responce.

Water for caulk

Saron, I get the caulk of with a Q tip and some water. Once it starts to set up a little you can also scrape or pick it off very carefully. I don't use caulk with silicone so I'm not sure about removing that. As far as the got glue, a lot of times you can peel it off after it sets. Have you tried that? I haven't tried this, but maybe a little laqer thinner might soften it up and you can peel it.

Thanks

I will try the laqer thinner on the hot glue. It will not peel off, it's kind of a mess. Thankfully it's in a small spot.
