Drying/preserving wings

I'm interested in preserving some duck wings (legally harvested) for old-fashioned feather fans. However, I have no idea what the best drying or preservation technique would be... Could anyone suggest anything? I need to keep the feathers intact on the wing for this to work.

I should mention that I am completely clueless about taxidermy techniques, so please, if you have any suggestions dumb them down for me!

...cut the humerous away, then make an insision from the wrist to the elbow and clean as much meat away as possible, buy some mule team borax from the grocery store, rub in, fill with cotton and sew up.

Thank you!
