A few posts down there is a question about supergluing around the eyes. You don't recommend it because it could burn the feathers and you've only got one chance. What do you use around the bills of your ducks? I've never used artificial heads before but the last 8 ducks I took I took in I decided to give them a try. They just showed up this afternoon. I was planning on using glue. Thanks

Use super glue gel around the bill. The reason George doesn't recommend gluing eyes is the feathers there tend to wick the glue and get hard.
Thanks Tony
a little trick that works well is to take a exacto knife with the scalple blade and scrape the area where the feathers will meet the bill. This will remove the paint but will also make a small groove for the skin to seat into.
