The guy who has taght me to do taxidermy gets his federal license every time for twenty five dollars. I sent in for mine with twenty five dollars and i got it back saying i needed a hundred dollars, is there something screwed up here or is that the right price this will be my first time to get my license

I am in Tennessee and our taxidermy license went to a $100.00. There may have been a mix up on someone's part. Everything else has gone up,so don't be suprised when anything goes up now days.All you need to do is give them a call,to the right region, and you will be able to get the correct answer without asking an outsde party.
The cost of your Federal Bird permit is now $100.00. It is good for 5 years instead of 3. The new cost will be effective when you renew your permit.
