Has anyone tried to use a pressure washer to flesh bird skins? Also what would you all suggest for fleshing bird skins?

Pressure washing bird skins has some limitations and unique applications. There have been a number of articles on pressure washing turkey skins as well as some others - if you click the little orange button and search herein.
The limitations I perceive are these: The pressure water machinery is large. The wand that comes with the machine is large and in some cases does not come with the type of nozzles one would use on birds. It takes some getting used to - the pressure is either on or off. The angle the water is applied is very narrow - too sharp and you have a hole - to shallow and nothing is really removed. It can be really messy if you do not have a space to do this outside. It would also be hard to clean up the material removed by the power washer - blown everywhere.
For the innovative mind, I think there would be a great market for a pressure apparatus that would be flexible enough to do smaller birds skins. Having said that, I suspect that there are those who in fact use pressure washing for all their birds. I do not criticize them as there is an answer for all the points I mention above - I prefer the wire wheel.
I have seen a pressure washer successfully wash (flesh) a turkey. Seemed to work well.
Even with a pressure washer, I believe that you would still need soap and water to finish the job. Good Luck
pw turkeys is ok. waterfowl a big nooooooooooooo. you must shorten your wand to a pistol style that you can operate with one hand. no biggy. use rotating nozzle on everything. this works very well on fish also. i say again, you must make a short one handed wand. ive been using pw for approx. 20 yrs. good luck cpt
