forgot to apply reservative

I prepared a turkey fan 2 weeks ago and as it was drying I remembered that I had forgotten to apply borax to it after I have washed and degreased it. It is now dried. What can/should I do?

I wouldn't worry about it. assuming you cleaned it, there should be nothing to worry about
