I did my first turkey fan and the tips of some of the feathers are a little tattered and rough looking. Is there any way to groom them and make them look more presentable? Do I need to steam them? Please give my any ideas. Thanks.

If your talking about the very ends or tips on the main tail...
Look at some reference of live birds, you will see that there just not perfect..
I found using a soft tooth brush, then use my fingers to place the large spaces togerther works well.Very slow process but works pritty good.
But as jim says there not perf. hope that helps
