I know most of you use plexiclass at the base of your pour-I was wonering have any of you ever pour right on to wood?-I am making a ceder table out of a nice ceder cut and was just going to router out the pond area and pour can this be done without all the resin soaking into the wood?-using- west systems epoxy boat resin got it for free so I am going to try it-Thanks in advance.

Pour a light coat first to seal it, let dry and lightly sand and then pour the finish coat. Just a note, West Systems is not crystal clear. It has a yellow tint. TR
