JP, buffies like any other duck have variancies in the their bill color. Chances are anytime you get a butterball in your shop the bill will have lost its color and will be black, but I have shot a fair amount of these guys and have seen bills range in just about all black to just about all an opaque offish white. To be on the safe side I would go somewhere in the middle and use good reference photos. Good luck mark www.natures-reflection.com
