air brush

what causes my single action H Paasche air brush to spit? It doesn't like to blow a nice paint pattern sometimes. Sometimes I get little beads of paint. I use Polytranspar acrylic paint.

Paint Spitting

Mike,

I too had this same problem and it sure is frustrating. What I found is that the paint was drying on the needle. Then it would build up and then spit onto you project. What you need to do is thin the pain with Reducer. This will help the paint flow better and does not allow the paint to dry on the needle. I have gone as fare as a 1 part paint and 1 part reducer. Good luck.
