i am having trouble with the wings of my first turkey not wanting to stay up and in the position i put it in. it appears to be the skin between the ulma and the humorus. im doing a strutting turkey, and used 12 guage wire in the wing, and i went about 1 1/2" into the ulma. i ran the wire threw the body and into the breast and crimped over to secure. but i still have loose wings. i believe its the feathers that are loosed. the bones stay were i put them. i hope this explains what i have. if you have any suggestions, they would be much apreciated. thanks in advance,
bob

Go with AT Least 9 ga in the future. I like the 9 ga soft that my supplier has. I am not sure whats "loose" from you description, but I would guess that the twelve ga wire is part of the problem. After that, there may not be enough material built back up in the wing.
Finally, if you moved that wing a lot, there may be a problem at the form. By moving the wing around and around, a large hole gets gouged out of the form. This makes for a loose wing instead of a solid juncture.
Those are my best guesses
