Im painting a beak on a bufflehead duck, but cannot find a paint schedule. All mine end up to blue. Anybody an expert on them?

Jeff this is what I do I paint the whole bill with super hide white, then I take widgeon blue and spray a light to a med coat from the base to the culmen fade out befor the nail. then I use confedirit grey or pintail grey and shade the area from the base forword throught the nostrils stay below the culmen and fading out before the nail. then mist over the intire bill with the grey to tone down the white and blend the colors. then I take black and shade the lower corners at the base and up to and including the notch then I lightly mist over the area that I had painted grey. I hope this helps you. Alex
You want a blueish gray color getting lighter at the end. That's what i did and got a second place in the ita comp.
