Turkey Feet

I was looking for a fast and easy method for preserving turkey feet. I have them sitting in salt right now, and they dont seem to be changing much. I have read about the injections and such, but was wondering if there were any other options. Thanks in advance

And only one or two that work, the one that you are avoiding, inject Master's Blend, sets up in 10 minutes, pose the feet and legs as it is setting up, done. Salt was used by the Egyptians to get the effect you are trying to get. You are trying to mummify the legs, Buy some Mater's Blend and get-r-done. On the other hand, soak them in stop rot for a few hours, pose them and let them air dry for three weeks.

Now with the Master's Blend...

Will I need to remove the tendons, cause this is mostly what I was avoiding, I have tried to remove them and It felt as though I was going to tear them up. And with the Master's Blend, I guess anywhere like Van Dykes carries it. Thanks again for your help.

leave them in if you want

This is all in the archive before I came along, Run the wire through first, you can install by pushing the wire with the tendons left in, it makes for a better fit around the wire, or take them out if you want. Cally Morris leaves them in, so will I. Sharpen the end of the wire, grab the wire with vice grips and use the vice grips to push the wire through and down the backside of the leg, keep the holding hand behind the tip of the wire at all times. Buy a large needle syringe to inject with, keep a small cup of acetone or thinner to clean the syringe out, right after you inject. You can plug the holes with t-pins until it sets. Inject in the underside of the toes, pad, and anywhere you think you need it. Follow mixing instructions, then work fast.
