If you inject the legs of ducks turkey etc.. with bird feet iject or fantastic cast do you still nead to paint the legs and feet, for commercial or competition type work. Thanks

On some turkeys I just put acrylic matte clear on them. I paint all my other birds' feet and legs. I make the decision on the turkey leg condition once everything is dry. If the scales still are tight and have good, natural coloration I just seal them with the acrylic. I personally can't paint a turkey leg as good as Mother Nature.
