I am restoring a British 5th Royal Irish Lancers officer's chapska (cavalry helmet with a square top). I need 14 green swan plumes to complete the headdress. I have absolutely hit the wall trying to find a supplier of swan plumes on the internet -- the British supplier will only sell to their Ministry of Defence. Can anyone suggest a legal source?

'Never heard of a green swan, but you should be able to get swan feathers from any breeder who has them in his collection. Now would be a good time to act, because the birds are moulting like crazy.
