i am a beginner,can anyone tell me what size motor and what kind
of wire wheel to buy i would like make a flesher.
i was looking in the grainger catalog,and still don't know what to
buy they have so many motor in there i am lost.can someone help
me.

1725rpm works good for me. you can buy a new bird flesher for about 170.00 ready to use

Not trying to be a smart a$$, but the archives has a lot of infomation there on Fleshers, to include how to buld one.
I tried the wire wheel in the drill trick for a while. I finally just broke down and bought the large one from WASCO. Best thing I ever did (for fleshing). If your planning on doing much birds I would suggest the same.
