Pellet hole in foot and in need of Northern Shoveler legs

Does anyone out there have a good system for plugging up and rebuilding a large pellet hole in the foot of a duck so it can accept the injection fluid. I have a customer that brought me a nice Barrows Goldeneye drake that has one large hole in the middle of the leg. He really wants the feet and the chest visible, so I don't want to have to change the position of the bird because of one pellet hole. I was previously told to just fill the hole with the apoxie-sculpt and inject but that hasn't worked all that great with the master's blend in the past.

I also am in need of a pair of legs for a northern shoveler drake. I have a customer that shot a nicely plumed bird last winter, but both feet are shot up beyond repair. A whole duck or just the feet would be greatly appreciated if anyone has an extra laying around.
Thanks,
Trevor

position the feet and use super glue in the hole followed by a pinch of borax.borax will cause the superglue to turn to concrete instantly.then simply inject and after the feet dry do your rebuilding over the bad area.i also use this technique at the top of the feet when removing them prior to mounting.i use to tie off this area but it seems to create a sunk in area along the feather line.
