Hope you all can help me again. I gave the archives a check, but there are soooo many articles on Caulk I couldn't find what I was looking for.
I remember reading that a certain kind of caulk when used on a Turkey with Borax has a bad reaction.
I getting ready to mount my second turkey this weekend and I wanted to stand some of the tracks on the back up for attitude. From everything I've read and seen in the vidoes Caulk is the only way to do that.
My question is: Which kind of caulk is user friendly w/Borax?
Also; Would you recommend using some other kind of liquid cure vs. using Borax?
Thanks for your help
Pat
PS: My first Turkey came out great,, thanks to everyones help and advise.

silicone goes into "hyper-kick" super speed set-up when in contact with borax. It was just discussed a week or so ago.
works for me
Try stop rot on your turkey's "It's magic". As far as caulk, I dont think it matters. It's when you use silicone. It reacts with the borax and goes into "hyper Kick" like Crusty says. It's the only way to fly.
I have used latex, acrylic latex and siliconized acrylic latex caulks with borax with no bad results. 100% silicone and borax= instant mess!
As always, thank you everyone for your expert advise.
This FORUM is great!
