Master's Blend Storage

Submitted by Becky on 8/11/06 at 10:59 PM. ( ) 209.170.148.207

Quick question...How should I store Master's Blend? I have it in a cabinet, in room temperature, but the part B is clumped up. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Becky

it will do this after being exposed to air. however it should take a while before it does this.how old is it? as a last ditch effort you can use a paint filter and strain the clumps out.once it starts it will continue and i have not found anything that will prevent it.

I store my Master's Blend in the refrigerator and have always been able to use the entire batch. I would try putting the B container in a container of hot tap water for a couple of minutes to see if it helps.

They should sell the parts seperatly. I have had part b become solid before I could use it also.

dipping your syringes into the containers? If so maybe you are transferring "a" over to "b"'s container. BP

It is getting exposed to air. I used to put mine in a film case and put it over the AC vent. The tops would pop just enough to allow air in and that B would solidify. I move it to small screw type paint jars and haven't had the problem since.
