gear reduction motor

I have a large tumbler and was wanting to build a smaller 30 gallon
tumbler . I have read on here many of you guys recommending gear
reduction motors to eliminate the size and complication of all the
belts and wheels on my larger tumbler.
I have the Grainger catalog and the number of motors they offer is
overwhelming. I was hoping some of you that have already purchased
a gear reduction motor could let me know the model numbers that would
narrow my search to the one that best suit my needs.
thanks Russ

use a larger pulley wheel on your tumbler and a smaller one on the motor shaft.if one is half the diameter of the other it will cut the rpms in half.what i did and it worked out.im no engineer for sure and that is the best explaination i have as it was told to me.

here is what I have on my 55 gal tumbler

I already had that page marked but was considering the 2h421 which
is rated at 15 rpm but is rated at 1/10 hp instead of the 1/12 hp of
the 56k325. I would rather have the motor you have though since it
has already proved to work well.
thanks Russ
