I know this has been discussed many times but still have questions. When you split the wattle do you start at the bottom of the wattle and work your way around the edge our is this the wrong way of doing it. Is their a video out their that shows this. Thanks Dan

if I understand you correctly, it sounds like you're talking about cutting from the outside (this of course would be wrong). just skin the bird like normal, find the wattles and start working your way into them. It is tough to get all the way to the edge, but just take it slow and you'll do okay. I kind of attribute that to turning lip or eyes on deer (course I've only mounted one deer - so that might be a bad comparison). good luck, brian
