When the Iraq war started, French's Foods got some flack through the mail asking if they were a French owned company, they responded with a press conference stating that the only thing they had in common with their mustard and France was that they were both yellow. True story.
not to get involved in Iraq. However they have quite a precense in Afghanistan and will in Lebanon as peace keepers.

I'm not sure how smart the US was to get "involved" with France after the Vichy government was installed either. They're getting what they deserve with the Muslim riots in Paris that the liberal press is trying to downplay as a "class uprising".
that saved the lives of lots of our downed pilots in WWII and was more than an annoyance to the Nazi's. They were key in gathering intelligence for the allies. Those people were anything but yellow and some paid dearly for it if they were caught. Not only would they be tortured and killed the Nazi's took it one step futher. In many cases they killed all their relatives.
And furthermore without their aid in the revolutionary war the U.S. might be another British colony.
This bashing of the French is not only inaccurate it shows a fundamental lack of knowledge of history. To use the French Vichey to judge the French as a whole is not fair.
As far as the riots in France I think France as every right to kick their butts out. They're muslims basically although they may have been born in France. I say if they don't like it in France go back to bum 'uck Egypt. No one's forcing them to stay there.
Many of those good, freedom loving people died for that right as well. It's a shame their country didn't show their backbone. Charles De Gaulle was a joke and he helped make the New France a farce like he was. He showed his appreciation of the allied effort by kicking us out of the country and of Frence "possessions" after the war ended.
