I usually use half of it, but you can use it all.
I install it after tucking the eyelids.

I've always run across the problem of the NM's having a slight space between it and the eye, as though it's sticking up or out a bit. I tried glueing them on first but then they were usually never in the right place when the eye was set. Anyway, I spent so dang much time on this part of the eye that I finally started sculpting my own in with apoxie sculpt when doing the finishing work and that seems to work well enough.

Maybe I wasn't using these NM's correctly, anyone else suffer this dilemna?

Jim the nictitating membrane is the inner eyelid.

I don't know why I don't do this in the first place....I just looked in the Breakthrough index and found an article on NM's in issue 37 (which I had back ordered and havn't completely read yet, so somewhat of an excuse...LOL) and whadya think? It answered all my problems...sheesh!

Carmen, check out issue #37 page 22.
