I would appeciate any suggestions on how you smooth out the seams
left from the molds on the deer head forms. Thanks.

All you need to do is take a small piece of 80-150 grit sandpaper and sand til all the seams are smooth. Then you can rough up the surface of the form, especially in the low lying areas with a manikin scratcher, a wire brush or sandpaper again. This is just to ensure that your hidepaste has a good surface to bond with.

Go to your local hardware store or Home improvement center and ask for a shurform rasp .There is one that the rasping surface is curved and only about 2 " long I use it exclusively to prep my mannikins,cost is around $5.00
