Ive always used McKenzie whitetail forms, but recently thought about trying some of the forms from Jim Allred. Have any of you folks used them. If so what'd think, and how did they compare to McKenzie?(eye setting, lips, nose, ear butts, and muscle detail)

We don't compare girlfriends/wives/husbands, significant others on the open forums. It's sort of a professional thing. Each of us has our own favorites and it serves no purpose to argue Fords versus Chevy versus Dodge. I know what I like, but some of my customers don't share those same feelings as they specifically request a pose not carried by my favorite. If you want an impartial opinion, ask one of your customers.
Dang George, havin a bad day? I was not askin anyone to down one or the other. I was only asking how they compared to the other. I mean as in form alteration. I know from experience the McKenzie forms very seldom require any kind of carving or special work. I love them, but I also noticed that Allred has alot of the same merchandise in their catalog. They also are slightly less expensive. I will continue to use McKenzie forms, but I have thought of using Allred too. Im sure they both sell great products. I was only asking for opinions. Not likes and dislikes. So, put your stinger back in, and have a nice day. NG
NG..I never tried one of his deer forms, but everything else I've bought from him I was satisfied with. Best thing to do is order one and evaluate it for yourself. I just bought a red fox form from him and its a good one.Try a deer form and see! If you dont like it you wont be out much money, but if you do, you have found another source for your supplies. Good luck....JL
I have a Ford and a Dodge!
Ford, alright. Dodge,... I'm sorry.
