Hello all - just curious if there is any harm freezing a cape which has already had bondo set up in the ears. Will it hurt the integrity of the bondo. Thanks.

My favorite subject. Freezing will have little if any effect on the integrity of the Bondo, BUT since it is NOT an adhesive, the hide is likely to develop condensation when it thaws. This condensation will likely form between the skin and the Bondo in the ear and will disbond from it. This, in turn, exacerbates the chances of drumming in the ears.

Never had a ny problems.

I have done it for years and have had no problems.

You already hurt the integrity of the CAPE when you put the bondo in the EARS! Hows that one, George? Ha ha ha, just kidding, guys, no hate email, OK?
