Air brush or oils

I would appreciate some opinions as to whether finshing a whitetail with oils is quicker , and which method most accurately resembles a whitetail deer. Thank you.

Personally, I use an airbrush for inside the nose, touch up around the lower lip, and the ears. I use oils for the eyes. I get a much softer look around the eyes with the oil paints. Good Luck

oils vs. airbrush

I think this is just a personal preference. I have finished whitetails both ways and have entered deer done both ways in very high levels of competition and both ways faired very well. I personally think airbrushing is faster for comercial work and does a very satisfactory job. With both techniques remember to go very lightly, if it looks painted then you have over done it!Good Luck
