A while back, I inquired about how Icould get that wet look on my short-haired deer mount. I went with the Tuf_Fin and it doesn't work - yet. That hair soaks that stuff up like a sponge and two hours later, you can't even tell it was ever there. Gonna try polyurthane next and see what I can come up with. ANyway, I hoped to make her look like she had snow on her back and the top of her neck with a li'l bit melting underneath. Found some good artificial snow, but I'm wondering what the best way is to get it to stick where I put it and still look "fluffy". Not planning to put a lot on her, just a dusting.
Go to wal-mart and get ya Elmers spray glue....it doesn`t come out stringy
and I guarrantee ya the snow will stick to it...WASCO also sells a good
spray adhesive. Put it on in layers until ya get the soft fluffy look ya want.
You can also use poly fill to help ya build up the thickness without putting so many layers of snow on.
