Its been covered a bunch of time, since this is a F.A.Q. you can find the answer under tanning and deer or gameheads.

Thaw the skin

I assume it is frozen wet tanned. If so just thaw it out. If it is just a dry tanned skin I do not know why it is in the freezer in the first place. But if it is dry, drench it in water with a handful of salt. After it is wet let it drain and just bag it and throw it in the refridgerator overnite. That should rehydrate it. Also check out the archives for more info.

dry tan in the freezer

Todd the reason being that you keep a dry tan in the freezer is so it doesn't loose the elasticity. But this is done if you don't really have the time to mount it within a year. Keeping it in the freezer the hide has a good chance of lasting a life time and still be able to mount it.
If a hide is left out in the open air it would be subject to humidity and unstable temperatures. This does however effect a tanned hide. The hide will loose necessary oils and whatnots that make it plyable for our use.
I'm not saying a tanned hide won't last in the open but rehydrating it three or more years done the road you may end up with troubles.
