I have been mounting deer for about 2 years now. I have never done a flehmen mount before. I am planning to use the Meder flehmen assembly in McKenzie. I have 1 question: How are the upper and lower lips attached? Are the barely tucked into lip slots or are they trimmed and glued? I am excited about trying this mount but I am just a little unsure about the proper way to go about it. Thanks for any advice.

A flehmen mount is easy with the assembly. It comes with instructions but in a nutshell, the sides of the lips and the front of the top lip are attached by gluing them to the assembly with supeglue gel.
The front of the bottom lip is designed to roll into the space between the teeth and lip where it is glued.
The pictures that come on the instructions do a good job of explaining it.
Good luck!
