I recently had the honor to mount the #2 all time typical mule deer lately and just got the photo of the mount up on my home page at www.mountainvalleyartistry.com I used a altered McKenzie whitetail wall pedistal form with change out wide muley head. After 31 years in this business full time Iv'e gotten to mount one of the top ten muley, elk and antelope now. That sure beats a nice retirement plan, pension and heafty saving account by now doesn't it? Now heres a peom above my desk I like to share. The Road I Chose-- If I could do it all over again, and choose a different way, I wonder who and where I'd be today? I often wonder about that other road and where it might have gone. Then I think of friends and loved ones I might of never known. I'm sure they're changes we all would make to erase the pain we felt. But as for me I'm pretty happy with the cards that fate has delt. If I'd chose a different way I might be rich, but then, I can't erase that horrid thought that a dead-end it might have been. So I thank God for all my friends, my wife and my family, Had I not been blessed to know them all, a lesser man I'd be. So when you mutter those infamous words, had I just done this or that, Just stop and count your blessings, and thank God for where your'e at.
